Miss World Nepal 2026 Deepmala Dhakal joined the Pink Rally 2026 in Kathmandu, standing alongside the community to champion breast cancer awareness during Pink October. The rally underscored a vital message: early detection matters. It also brought people together in solidarity with cancer survivors and everyone affected by the disease. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month inspires campaigns worldwide, Miss World participants are using their platforms to amplify messages of hope, awareness, and support. Organised by Raksha Cancer Care Society, the rally drew approximately 700 participants, including cancer survivors, public figures, athletes and community organisations. Starting at Bhrikutimandap and ending at Basantapur Durbar Square, the walk united people around a shared commitment to awareness and support. At the finish, Deepmala addressed the gathering, encouraging open conversations about breast cancer and standing with those facing its challenges.

In one of the campaign’s most striking moments, pink fabric was draped across all four sides of Dharahara, turning the iconic Kathmandu landmark into a powerful symbol of solidarity. Reflecting on the initiative, Deepmala said, “Behind every statistic is a life, behind every ribbon is a story, and behind every step is hope.” Her words reminded attendees that behind every awareness campaign are real people and personal experiences, and that each step toward awareness can help bring their stories into focus. Awareness must go hand in hand with access to care. Raksha Cancer Care Society continues to provide free mammography screening, helping make early detection more accessible. The initiative demonstrated how community participation can offer meaningful support and encourage proactive healthcare. Deepmala, who will represent Nepal at Miss World 2027 in Tanzania, continues to use her platform to support causes that unite people and create a positive impact.
